Potato famine

This old mixer very much enjoyed last night's BCS finale. Well officiated from the very beginning, it was an honest contest between two well matched opponents, which the University of Florida Gators, behind a beautifully designed offensive attack, picked Ohio State apart in the first half, the second, then played out in a relaxed denoument. Good football. Cue the chaff.

That said, some competent officiating might have kept the whole thing from collapse had they maybe slowed Bosie State down a  little bit, but here we are with the only undefeated team in the top five buried in fifth place in the final standings as if they haven't realized that the whole bowl series was a house of cards. Call it: Big College Stuff.
