View from my window

I do like outdoor sculpture;

The hotel restaurant---a favorite watering hole.

I ventured out this afternoon for a bit and a bite. It was doable or at least more doable than my experiences with Washington, D.C.'s heat and humidity.

This is fun having Albert and the wireless network working. I get dropped from time to time but it comes back later.

NYC

I'm in New York this week for a two-day workshop on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. I came a couple days early to play. I'm staying at the Club Quarters that is two blocks from the NYSE. Today I'm just resting and dinging around and watching the temperature and humidity climb. Currently, it is 91 degrees with 60 percent humidity. I'm going out after while---at least take the subway to midtown.

It was a good flight yesterday via Alaska Airlines---Anchorage to Seattle to Newark. It was only a 4 1/2 flight from Seattle to Newark. We had a brand new airplane and a good jet stream!

Floatable Art "05

My pick for the winner of the 2005 Floatable Art Award is "Penguins Can Fly".

This one is still my all time favorite.
