Wednesday in NYC--Met Art museum day
A great day at the Metropolitan Art Museum----probably one of the best ever. I started here when it opened----Sol LeWitt on the Roof: Splotches, Whirls and Twirls.

The Channel exhibit brought forth memories of great classic clothes.
The John Townsend: Newport Cabinetmaker exhibit was most enjoyable--such marvelous work. I wish I knew more about furniture making.
The highlight of the whole day was the Matisse exhibit---Matisse: the Frabic of Dreams and His Art and His Textiles. It was marvelous. I will never look at a Matisse in the same.
