I Am so Jazzed
I started teaching my Econ and Stocks for Teachers last night---I have 22 great teachers. This is the first time I have taught this class in a computer lab---what an enhancement! For each topic they receive a Short informative lecture. If they want more indepth info, it is in the text. Then I give them time for computer exploration of the topic, followed by time to summarize and pull the info back together.
This evening we are doing Company Sales/Revenues, Parent Companies, and Earnings. I'm off to the grocery this morning to buy 10 or 12 items to play Guess the Parent Company. Who ever guesses correctly gets the item whether it's Wrigley chewing gum, Johnson and Johnson Bandaids, or Goodiva Chocolates (Cambell Soup).
