It has once again been goodby to the Seattle Mariners. They did have a better season this year. They lost only 93 games not the 99 they lost last year. Alas, Ski Boy's BoSox are also off until spring. Remember, hope springs eternal.

Hockey season at the King residence began with a bang this weekend. L and I drove to Wasilla for the Seawolf opening exibition game with the University of Windsor. We won!!

Last night we drove back up to Wasilla to watch the Wasilla Spirits, a North American Hockey League team. It is a Junior team--up to 21 year olds. They beat the Fairbanks Icedogs---the only other team in Alaska that belongs to the league. This is a brand new addition to the local hockey scene.

Two hockey wins this weekend plus a win by the Seattle Seahawks today.
