Great Discussions of Great Decisions
Last night I hosted the Alaska World Affair Council Great Discussions of Great Decisions. Our topic was the U. S. and Iran. We agreed that we actually knew little about Iran. That our knowledge was actually perceptions based on four terms---Iran, Muslim, terrorists, and nuclear weapons. We wanted to know about ordinary people and what life and their views are like. We felt that economic sanctions don't work, therefore, what are the downsides of working with Iran like we are with China.
