Eric Paylor, Evening Gazette - Race walking is emerging as one of Teesside's most productive sports, with a potential big future ahead.

The one-year-old Redcar Race Walking Club can already claim to be one of the top two clubs in the region, boasting new internationals Johanna Jackson and Dave Jones (pictured) during the past year.
Secretary John Paddick, himself a former Olympics walker, said: "The club has gone from strength to strength and we want to continue to expand."
