IMPORTANT: Make sure your systems get patched. Go to Windows Update immediately. Protect your systems. Here's the story from Yahoo: Microsoft Admits New Windows Problem.

I just saw this on TV and had to share: black bear bouncing on trampolene. Ouch.

Interesting weblog. "Microsoft vs" tries to be a comprehensive look at alternatives to Microsoft.

Chris Sells points to Keith Ballinger, who's on MSDN TV right now. Yeah, it's a multimedia evening!

Raymond has one of the most interesting weblogs that I've seen lately. He writes about Microsoft's user interface decisions. His latest rant is interesting -- it's about what those icons and area down by the system clock in the task bar.

I always thought that was the system tray too. Hint: it's not.

I keep hearing more and more about Red vs. Blue lately. Now that I have broadband and three computers at home I'm catching up.

Joe Gregorio has an update on what's been happening in the AtomAPI camp lately (APIs for weblog tools, for those who don't know what Atom is).

Scott Hanselman has a killer directory of useful dev tools. Yeah, I saw him gripe today that I hadn't Scobleized him yet. The problem with coming late to the party is my 18 readers (er, 140 now) have probably already downloaded most of his directory, so don't know how much new traffic will get sent his way.

The other day I was walking through the hall in building 42 and I poked Don Box in the belly. True story. How often do you get to do that? Not to mention, turns out he has the same amount of traffic that I do. But, he gets his traffic with about 1/100th the effort, so shows why he runs an empire and why I just weblog.

Oh, and Paul, yeah, that's a cool way to get traffic. I gotta try that one someday myself. "Blog traffic faceoffs" coming soon. Heh.

Heh, Chris and Duncan, I'm an ENTJ too. Weird. Is Microsoft an ENTJ cult?
