Goodmorning from our Island in the sun! Another beautiful day in the carribean. Yesterday was filled with greeting old friends who work here at Round Hill. Two and a half years ago I purchased several computers for the guys here, but was never succesful at getting them connected. Things like that don't happen easily in Jamaica, certainly not if you're trying to orchestrate the impossible from 4000 miles away.
Luckily there's an internet cafe in nearby Hopewell, so I'll be setting up my friend David's first weblog later today. I can't wait to read his thoughts. David is so typical of the young people here. Highly educated [thanks to the british colonists] and reads every international publication, which are readily available at the hotel. I was pleased to hear his thoughts on the war in Iraq, and amazed to hear his deep understanding of the political climate in the Netherlands after the assasination of Pim Fortuyn.
I'll point to David's weblog as soon as we get it up and running. Everything else is kriss. Irie.
