Weekblad Nieuwe Revu gaat een stuk schrijven over Erik O. Of ik er aan mee wil werken. Mijn antwoord: Nee. Niet omdat ik het niet zou willen, maar mijn ervaringen met dat blad zijn alleen maar slecht. Alles wat er ooit in is verschenen waar ik iets uit eerste hand van af weet was nooit feitelijk juist. Het zijn luie journalisten en onbekwame redakteuren die er werken. Om in hun eigen taal te spreken: wie denkt nieuwe revu wel dat ze zijn?
Ze kunnen wat mij betreft gewoon mijn log citeren, of die van Alexander en Michiel.

Walking along the strip on South Beach this afternoon/evening we saw a couple of segways whiz by. One of them stopped and we were offered a quick try, followed by a perfect pitch for an hour tour of south beach by segway. Patricia wanted to do some shopping, so Christina and I agreed to walk to the rental shop on 11th street to sign up for a quick tour. Once inside the 'boss' and I connected, we knew each other from somewhere. But ofcourse! It was Colleen, Michael Coburn's wife. Mike worked with me at THINK New Ideas, my comany in New York back in the late 90's.
Talk about a small world! Mike and his wife moved to florida after 9-11 when work in the city dried up, and now they're entrepeneurs, offering the world famous South Beach Segway tour. It was great seeing them again and their (almost) 2 year old son. While we toured around the area we recalled old memories and war stories from the dot-com days. Man did we have a blast back then.
The whole experience was a bit twilight zone-ish, whizzing around south beach on our segways talking about friends, colleagues and clients. It's also great to have a friend in this city with some desired connections :)
