Our first day in Italy was amazing! Patricia found us a great hotel in Sorrento, overlooking the bay, straight across from mount Vesuvius, which buried the citizens of Pompei under volcanic ash in 79 BC. Supposedly there's a couple of wifi hotspots in town, but nowhere near the hotel so I'm posting this via bluetooth to my phone, which is connected to the net by a GPRS connection. Cellphones is abut the only infrastructure in Italy that really works.
