Give me your pumped, your rich blood. I got a postcard reminding me it's almost time to donate blood again (Christmas Day... I guess I'll have to wait until the day after) and that the blood banks are low during this time of the year. If you donated after 9-11, you're most likely eligible to donate again. It doesn't matter if one million people donate today or not, the supply is only good for about six weeks. It only takes an hour (if that long especially when you make an appointment) and hurts only a little (sometimes not at all and honestly, sometimes more than a little). Moments ago, I received an email from Amazon proposing I update my wishlist because my birthday is coming up. What's number one on the suggestion list? Barbie Jam 'n Glam Tour Bus.
