>PCS Coverage. Did you know that Sprint PCS, the only nationwide, all digital network, has no coverage in Montana and almost none in Wyoming? That's "nationwide service"? Meanwhile, I took a look at AT&T Wireless, which is spending a lot of money to downgrade their network coverage. I live in a part of the northwest where towns are few and far between (although I live in a pretty big city). The old AT&T TDMA DigitalOne network had excellent coverage throughout the less populated parts of the northwest. However, AT&T is in process of converting everyone over to (apparently) a 1900 Mhz GSM network with what can only be described as lousy coverage. About the same as Sprint PCS. Fine if you live and only travel in a populated metro area. Useless if you travel in rural areas of our country. Guess that is why AT&T Wireless is losing scads of customer every month. Compare their new GSM network to their old network in Washington and Oregon and you can see what I mean. The new AT&T network is a massive downgrade for customers.
