Productive DayToday has been a fairly productive one so far. I've finally started taking the initial steps of learning how to manipulate MySQL and PHP to do cool things. It hasn't been all that hard to pick up, just syntax stuff and various functions to remember... nothing particularly mind blowing. Eventually I'd like to put together my own weblog management software. Not because there aren't several systems that probably do what I want already, but because I think it would make for a good learning exercise and it should be fun as well. We'll see what happens though.
I should probably get showered soon as I need to head north to meet up with Mary at her parent's where we'll be house sitting for a few days. Fun, fun, fun.
