Afternoon linkage

Cam found an excellent article on PHP security today. A Study in Scarlet: Exploiting Common Vulnerabilities in PHP Applications

I should try downloading some larger files just to see what kind of throughput this cable modem is really capable of.

Speaking of PHP, monaural jerk is an interesting looking web journal application written in PHP. [via Q Daily News]

Random Seattle Stuff

Did a little exercising this morning with Mary. We ran for about twenty minutes, and made it about two miles I think. I'm a little sore now, but it felt good to go for a run again for the first time in months. I always find that it's easier to go running for the first time in Seattle than in Spokane and I attribute that to the roughly 2000 foot difference in elevation between the two cities.

I came across a nifty keyboard and mouse replacement product from FingerWorks. It's basically a giant keyboard sized curved touchpad that can also recognize gestures. Very cool!
