Why must every medium be polluted with advertising. Come up with another way to making money. If it costs you too much to produce a weblog, then don't do it.
The problem is that it costs very little to produce a weblog, so people think they can make money for nothing. That is why we have so much spam.
If this idea takes hold, in a few years, weblogs will be useless for information gathering.
