Petition To Recall Bush. Those interested in recalling Bush in response to DeLay's call to recall Davis can click here to sign the petition. [Political News & Analysis]
This post came across the wires about the same time I made my last post. While I am pleased to see that others are as fed up as I am, I feel helpless. Nothing is going to change in the next year and too much damage is being done. At best, we are going to spend the next 10 years digging ourselves out a hole. I only hope we can find a leader who can help us climb out. Right now, we have one who is only capable of digging deeper.

EPA Eases Pollution Rule at Power Plants (Reuters). Reuters - The Bush administration on Wednesday
revised clean air regulations to make it easier for power
plants and refineries to repair and upgrade their facilities --
a move environmental groups said will cause more air pollution. [Yahoo! News - Top Stories]
While California thrashes about with its recall, the news from Washington makes me think that a national recall is needed. Our President, who was not elected by a popular majority, continues to wage war on the environment. Apparently not happy with putting a few thousand soldiers in harms way, the administration wants to endanger the rest of us so energy corporations can make more profit.
