While I am pleased to see that others are as fed up as I am, I feel helpless. Nothing is going to change in the next year and too much damage is being done. At best, we are going to spend the next 10 years digging ourselves out a hole. I only hope we can find a leader who can help us climb out. EPA Eases Pollution Rule at Power Plants (Reuters). Reuters - The Bush administration on Wednesday revised clean air regulations to make it easier for power plants and refineries to repair and upgrade their facilities -- a move environmental groups said will cause more air pollution. [Yahoo! News - Top Stories] While California thrashes about with its recall, the news from Washington makes me think that a national recall is needed. Our President, who was not elected by a popular majority, continues to wage war on the environment.
