Since noon today, I have received 550+ messages with the SoBig virus. Email is dying.

Without filters filing this junk out of sight, I would be flailing. With the filters it is an annoyance.

Actually it is more than an annoyance, because I have clients questioning whether I received their posts. While I try to to separate the wheat from chaff, I can't be sure that I haven't missed a post.

So, If you send me a message and I don't get back to you within a day, resend the message.

This post is a day late, but I was traveling.

September is a busy month.

Birthdays for Tom, Beth, Mike and Stu, an anniversary for Mom and Dad, a wedding for Jerry & Michelle, and remembering Hugh Clifton and Sara Bettencourt.

The Gustine City Band will be playing at Our Lady of Miracles Festa in Gustine on September 13 & 14. The Blue & Red Circus Band will be playing at Bark in the Park on September 20.

Then there are neighborhood meetings on September 2, 3, 9, 17.

Assuming I survive, I hope that I remember Mom's birthday in early October.

Apple keeps its customers waiting. I wonder how many sales Apple is losing over its continuing inability to ramp up production to meet demand? [Mac Net Journal]

This is such an old story, you have to wonder why it isn't fixed yet. Back in the "Apple is Dead" days, the story was routine, Apple announces a new product, tons of people want it, Apple produces three. Long waits = lost sales. And they wonder why market share is down.

6 months later, I am still waiting for 15" powerbook with the bells and whistles on the 17" model. Announce it and ship it, you've got a sale.
