U.S. Announces Tsunami Warning System Plan (AP). AP - The Bush administration unveiled a $37.5 million plan Friday to erect a tsunami warning system designed to protect both the Pacific and Atlantic coasts by mid-2007. [Yahoo! News: Top Stories]
If the Bush Administration understood science then they would know that they could save themselves millions of dollars by not worrying about the Atlantic coast. But, they don't so we will spend millions deploying hi-tech buoys where the waves don't get big. But it will fatten some contributor's wallet, so it is all good.
