U.S. Announces Tsunami Warning System Plan (AP). AP - The Bush administration unveiled a $37.5 million plan Friday to erect a tsunami warning system designed to protect both the Pacific and Atlantic coasts by mid-2007. [Yahoo! News: Top Stories] If the Bush Administration understood science then they would know that they could save themselves millions of dollars by not worrying about the Atlantic coast.
