I just re-read my last few posts. They aren't real rosy. Sorry about that. I don't want Fluid Flow to become my gripe session. Yes, things in this world piss me off and don't get me started about the people who are supposedly leading us. Also the sports news (just the news, not the writers) in San Jose still sucks. But there is hope. Opening Day for the San Jose Giants is only 3 months, 4 days, and 2 hours and 48 minutes away (but who is counting). California is still one of the most beautiful places in the world to live (so it should be one of the most expensive). My current task of moving over 1000 websites into domain specific databases will end some day. So, grins all around and I'll pull up "Smile!" in iTunes. Niners Pick Mike Nolan to Be New Coach (AP). AP - Baltimore defensive coordinator Mike Nolan accepted the San Francisco 49ers' head coaching position Monday and began to negotiate a contract to take over the team that had the NFL's worst record last season. [Yahoo! News: Top Stories] Oh boy, the new 49ers coach is the son of the Niner's coach from 1968-1975. Now, I don't know anything about Mike Nolan and the Raven's are known for their defense, but there are lots of bad omens here. The Niner's were 54-57 while Dick Nolan coached. Though 9-7 this year, the Ravens failed to make the playoffs. Joe Thomas was the last coach from Baltimore that the Niner's grabbed. All in all, it is hard to be inspired.
