Several of the comments as San Jose Inside are agreeing with my comment yesterday that the blog has lost its punch.

Hopefully that will stir things up. I am not, however, expecting too much.

As I browse my spam folder daily, I see a number of "No on Prop 79" and "Yes on Prop 77" kinds of posts. Fortunately, they are in my spam folder and not my inbox. I wish that I had a similar pre-sorter on my mail box. It would make life easier.

For the record, I think that the initiative process has been completely bastardized. Hiram Johnson must roll in his grave every time we have an election now. His populist solutions have been usurped by the rich and powerful. Now the people are trained to legislate based on who can buy the most TV time.

I will be voting no on all propositions, as I have for the last 10 years. If there is an initiative to reform the initiative process, I might consider it.
