mailedit beta Shortly after I posted MailEdit 1.0.2, I also posted a beta of MailEdit 1.1.0 (available at http://radio.weblogs.com/0100039/gems/mailEdit/beta/mailEdit.root).
The big feature about this beta is the addition of the #publish
directive. The #publish directive all by itself will cause the home
page to be republished. There are arguments to the #publish directive,
and this evening I will update the docs to show you what they are (yeah,
this is taking the weenie way out, but I don't have it with me at the
moment). Those who are adventurous could poke through the source code
to see what they are. Suffice it to say that anything you can do with
the Radio->Publish menu in the Radio UI you can do with the #publish
directive. |

hiptop woes It finally happened. If you read the Hiptop forums, you get the impression that the Hiptop device has a high failure rate. Well, mine worked fine from when I got it in late January. But this weekend, the scroll wheel started to fail. It would start getting this mechanical "crunchy" feel, and then it would stop registering movement altogether. Sometimes it would work, other times not.
So they're sending me a new one. I hope it won't fail as well.
Actually, I do hope it'll fail, because if they have to replace it
twice, the third replacement will be a Color Sidekick, and those have
shown more reliability in the field (as well as being cooler because
they are color devices). |
