With almost perfect timing, this bibliography came across the POD list today.  It should come in handy for the TAG Think Tank on 'Perfect Teaching Spaces' on Friday.  This is from their website (which will be getting RSS feeds soon I hope).

1. Great Teaching Spaces

Facilitator:
Date: Friday, November 14
Time: 12:00 - 1:50 pm
Location: TAG Seminar Room

Lunch will be provided.
We all know that teaching and learning are affected by the physical spaces in which they take place. We also know that the realities of architecture, budgets, and the ravages of time can result in physical spaces that are less than ideal for the purpose. However, have you ever fantasized about physical spaces that would be perfect for the type of teaching you want to do? If so, bring those ideas to the next Teaching Think Tank. If you haven't fantasized, then this is your chance.
A special guest at the Tank will be Justin Marples, who is the Director of Classroom Services at UBC. Justin knows the teaching spaces of the University well, and he is keen to hear our ideas. You never know, some of those fantasies might be closer to reality than you think.

I had a chance to tour this teaching space earlier this year and was amazed.
