This seminar will give you a glimpse into "Open Thinking" a WebCT Exemplary course, recognized for implementing best practices and creative uses of technology. This course has delivered high completion rates, as well as excellent student participation and interaction in discussion groups. Come meet Ann Pollock, the BC Open University Instructor of "Open Thinking" to learn about the ideas behind the course, see a demo of the live course and hear some of the positive student feedback.

Meeting with Tom Carey this morning. He is here to talk about CLOE. The site is pretty rich, but most importantly it has case studies (stories) of use (and hopefully, ultimately, collaboration) which are a good tool to get faculty involved.

This Dutch initiative was mentioned in passing.
