This morning started out with a story on the local news about an 80 something year old woman who gave her husband a bracelet before he went off to europe in WWII. A week later he was killed in Belgium but the bracelet was never recovered. It seems there is a guy in Belgum that collects items he finds digging in old foxholes. He finds the bracelet and flies to the US to return it to her. When she sees the bracelet she weeps and falls apart, as do I, as she shows her husband (the bracelet) photos of his now grown son.
Quick turn that off finish dressing and go get the girls ready for school. There are a few minutes between Chelsey's ride and Lindsey's. Lindsey likes to catch a few music videos while she waits. Of course it is the first time I've seen the totally heart wrenching Good Charlotte video for the song "Hold On".
"Hold on if you feel like letting go Hold on it gets better than you know Don't stop looking, you're one step closer Don't stop searching, it's not over Hold on if you feel like letting go Hold on it gets better than you know Hold on"
I missed the beginning, and it's the abridged version, so I'm doing ok, until, the people pictured in the video start to cry.
