William Blaze has an interesting take on the political agenda of The Matrix Franchise.[Doc Searls] Maybe I shouldn't comment on movies I haven't watched. But analyses like the above and the Salon review it links to confirm my uneasiness with this phenomenon. Magical thought gets in the way of real thought. If the real world is seen as simulation, thought and considered action in it are devalued, making violence more attractive.
