User alert! CNET News.com's Michael Kanellos says it's benchmark season again, and, as usual, the results are confusing. [CNET News.com] As soon as the G5 benchmarks appeared, the paranoia-amplifying power of linking was again shown. Rabid attacks reflected as “doubts” by ”more serious” outlets have emerged here as pseudo-hip cynicism disguising the absence of serious work. Only a few writers seem to know what they are talking about.
