When questioned about what religious or nonreligious group doesn't share their vision of American society, survey participants indicated that atheists —with 54 percent—provided the greatest threat, Hartmann said. Survey participants said Muslims create the second-highest threat.

well, let's see. The only way atheists and Muslims could not, as a group, share the vision of American society of the participants is if American society is a Christian theocracy. Because there is nothing inherent in either against democracy. The only overlap between atheists and Muslims is that they are not Christians. Sure glad we have a separation of Church and State here in America, where you can follow the religion of your choice without fear of reprisal. Even so, I think we are in for another Great Awakening, with a concurrent expulsion of anyone who does not fit. We will become more insular, more isolated and, eventually, less powerful, as a country when we follow that path. 12:06:29 AM
