Brigitte Bardot Turns 70 From Fleshbot: When Brigitte Bardot retired from making films in 1973, she said "The myth of B.B. is finished. Perhaps in five years people will have forgotten me, maybe not." Over thirty years later, her name remains synonymous with the phrase "sex kitten" (though a whole generation has grown up associating her more with saving kittens than being one); and even if she's gotten pretty dotty in her dotage, the "overripe sexuality" of her 1950s and 60s screen appearances still earn her a place in the Fleshbot hall of fame.
