Bush Goes to School on Low-Income Students: "By Marca Bradt, Utne.com President Bush recently made political hay by announcing plans to increase the maximum amount of money allotted to students eligible for a Pell Grant. What he failed to mention is that this plan will make 90,000 students currently in the program ineligible, and another 1.3 million students will actually receive less money for tuition."
