What happens when you combine 200 liters of Diet Coke and over 500 Mentos mints? It's amazing and completely insane.
(Via digg / dig.)
I found over 30 Mentos/Coke videos in Dabble's database, but this one takes the cake. It's here.

Salon takes on RFK's case that the 2004 election was stolen. Well worth reading, along with the Rolling Stone piece. Perhaps the key takeaway from both these articles, is that there should not be controversy like this for representative government to survive. All voters should be able to vote easily with absolute assurance that their votes are counted accurately. Alas, as Salon points out, Kennedy's piece in Rolling Stone doesn't offer any solutions, and neither has anyone else, really, in the years since the Florida debacle.
Via Dave Farber's list, there's more here. What an ungodly mess. As I said above, a key requirement of representative democracy is that all votes are counted equally and accurately, and it must be apparent that this is so. Clearly, it's not apparently so in the last two presidential elections.
