Report raps post-9/11 detentions
An internal investigation into the Justice Department's detentions of hundreds of people after September 11, 2001, for suspected immigration violations found significant problems in how the cases were handled, CNN has learned.

The scary part is that the same people behind this are also asking for even more power around the right to detain suspects (or even non-suspects). My favorite part of this was the refusal of the administration to release the names of the detained. It's pretty scary when the JOD can have people detained and people can't find out who, and why. I thought that went out with the Gestapo, and KGB!..mj
