The multimedia blog

The multimedia blog.

One of the reasons I'm bored with talking about blogs is that very few people wanna take it beyond just text.

Glenn Fleishman has an interesting article in the Seattle Times today - where he looks at iBlog and what else is possible.  And yes - he plugs me, so.......

BTW He wasn't invited to the Foo Camp either.

When will we see the Internet's first Audioblogging Music Artist?

"it harder to figure out how many people actually specifically care"

This will change as new tools arrive to tell the artist who and how often users are downloading their RSS feeds.  Also, how often their MP3s are being downloaded.

How far are we from the day when we can tune into our favorite artist's RSS enclosure file and listen to the track they just put down in the studio or recorded 5 minutes ago at the concert? .... and we can comment back to them on it.  That wil dawn "the day of the Internet's first Audioblogging Music Artist"!!

Oh yeah, Brad you need to add RSS enclosures to your feeds.

Brad Sucks. One musician starts to sing our song: "RSS is nice because it makes it easy to monitor sporadic things like new song updates without having to visit a site every day or give your email address out. But from a webmaster / artist's perspective, it makes it harder to figure out how many people actually specifically care when you have something new to announce. But anything that helps get the word out is fine by me." Well, at least he's not cutting off his nose to spite his face. Brad... [Lockergnome's RSS Resource - Feeds]
