New Webjay tool for MP3 audiobloggers
webjay: A note to mp3 bloggers:
I played with the Webjay tool a little last night. Kinda cool. Seems to work with the way I create audioblog posts. Here are some links to what I produced.
Below are some of the attributes I like to see added to the Webjay tool/service:
1) The ability to include prerecorded pre and post mp3 files to the playlist that is scraped. This would enable the inclusion of site's signature intros and endings to site playlists. Maybe multiple pres and posts.
2) Max num of items. This would allow one to limit the size of the playlist. Listen to my top/first 10.
3) And finally, the ability to read in a SAM feed file. Instead of having Webjay scrape my html pages, I would like the option for Webjay to pull in my SAM feed and have Webjay create their html and playlists using the extensive SAM Meta data.
I'm sure I'll come up with others as I use the tool more.
Update additions:
- The option to look for Ogg Vorbis files instead of MP3s.
A note to MP3 bloggers:
Webjay has a tool specifically designed for people who blog links to songs. For people surfing your blog, it is a drag to have to click on each song, download it, listen to it, and maybe move it to their main mp3 directory. What Webjay can do for you is auto-generate playlists of all the songs you have linked to, so people can go straight from your blog to listening.
