5{42a9dd0c42f069fb416906afdee2e9">I mentioned Mike Chambers' Flash weblog several times at Stanford today when people asked how you make money with a weblog. It's not so linear. Macromedia wants to develop relationships with new developers. So they start a set of weblogs and see what happens. Mike, who works at MM, has been updating regularly. That's the way you communicate, steadlily over time, and let a community gather.   [Scripting News]

Day of the Child Video with IMovie Though it may seem that time stands still for me, I was able to finish the editing using IMovie. Let me roll it back some. On the Day of Child most of the staff was the entertainment for the children. We were supposed to have a young children's professional Mexican band play for us, but that fell through when a local school member cried to the big boys on Clark St. So it was up to the staff. As someone said at a recent meeting in Savannah, teaching is a performance art! We had Sister Sledge, Sonny and Cher, Tahlia, Celia Cruz and company singing and shaking to 'La Vida es un Carnaval', Jennifer Lopez and peeps ( I was the one in the middle between Jennifer Lopez and her 'sister' doing my best to keep my feet moving to the beat of 'My Love Don't Cost a Thing" Ms Davis was "off the chain' with the rap song Revolution (Ira and Alyson added even extra attitude" to the song.. A big hooray to our emcee Ema, who kept the positive energy moving and did a pretty good job. I can say that it was a pleasure to edit this video watching my fellow teachers get on another stage. I can't wait for next year! I also got to break in the Panasonic DV - VHS recorder to make a dv to VHS dub. I gave the first draft to Martha to get feedback.
