Is FORTRAN Still Kicking? [Slashdot]

Last time I checked, my uncle still used Fortran at his work (he's a mechanical? engineer)

He knows C, but complains that it doesn't have a lot of the math libraries/functions he is used to in Fortran

So, I would say (based on a sample size of 1): Probably Still Alive
