At any apartment alarm they send lots of engines and ladder trucks. Here is the local Ladder Company, a snorkel truck and the Battalion Chief's car.

I live in an old tenement in Chinatown. It probably has a burn time of a couple of minutes, so it is always gets my attention when the engines come down East Broadway. My attention is further gotten when they stop right in front of the house.
