Jaguar includes a number of new font features but one that hasn't been noted very widely is the new font Cochin. Linotype has the history on this face and places it's original developement as part of the typographical Neorenaissance movement. In 1913 Georges Peignot produced a typeface based on Nicolas Cochin’s eighteenth century engravings. In 1977, Matthew Carter expanded this historic form into a three part series.

It's available in regular, italic, bold and bold italic styles. Great fonts aren't free - a quick search on myfonts.com shows that the full family would cost around $80 USD if purchased on its own. If you are new to Mac OS X, Cochin joins an exceptional collection of some of the best typefaces in the industry.
