It's clear from refererers pages in Radio that my weblog has been discovered in Japan. We've worked hard to make Mac OS X v10.2 a really great release for Japanese users. One of the important features is that we can now present key folders in the file system (like Pictures, Documents, Movies, Music, etc.) in Japanese, or whatever preferred language you specify. The folder name isn't physically changed in the file system but the presentation is localized on the fly!

Today's feature: FTP servers mount in the Finder. Go to the Connect to Server... command in the Finder and type in a valid ftp URL (ftp://ftp.mozilla.org for example). Voila, the server is available as a mounted, read-only volume.

I'm going to be travelling to Paris for Apple Expo next week so the postings may become a little spotty. Sorry 'bout that but if I have decent connectivity as planned, I should be able to get some features and tips sent out from the other side of the pond as they say.
