Today a whinge for Dave and the UserLand crew. Radio is a great tool, but it isn't nearly finished yet.
Categories were included in Radio 8.0.2 (I believe) and according to the top of this page I'm running Radio 8.0.4b2. They still don't work. I'm trying to maintain a seperate blog here, relating to my doodlings with PythonCard. I had a category called 'Hobbies' but using that has led me to all sorts of grief. Specifically, when I post to my 'Home Page' and my 'Hobbies' categories the entry will appear in both places, but if I only post to 'Hobbies' then the post is sent to weblogs.com but doesn't appear in the HTML page. Try the link to the left of this page and see if there is an entry for today - there is but you can't see it in the hobbies page - correction, it is appearing now.
To force Radio to publish this item to the correct page I resorted to the last resort of the scoundrel - I changed the theme of the page. Big mistake. Now I can't change the them of 'Hobbies' back to its previous value and the theme of my desktop home page is now broken. Bugger. I've switched the themes of both pages several times now and hopefully this post will force my changes to be upstreamed but I'm not holding my breath.
