Ooh, couldn't resist this one. A top word of the day if ever I saw one;

salubrious: Dictionary.com Word of the Day. salubrious [Dictionary.com Word of the Day]

Your mission, as with all words of the day, is to get the selected word into a sentence you write or speak today. I've got a meeting in fifteen minutes, I will see if I can confuse the attendees with judicious use.

Spotted on the excellent diveintomark today;

Digital Chaucer. Guardian: British Library digitises Chaucer for the internet [via BoingBoing] This is cool all by itself; as an added bonus, it's so cute how the British misspell "digitise". ;-)

I like the way colonials over use the letter 'z' (that is pronounced 'zed' by the way) ;-)

Bah humbug. Oh, and read this thread on MeFi, it carries on the ages old "Limeys v Septics" argument. I love it because it is all so irrational and generalised, as all the best meaningless arguments are.
