Dave Winer posts: "Seriously, if you vote for Bush and he wins, we're going to blame you for what happens in the next four years." That sounds like a seriously flawed perspective in any democracy. This shouldn't be an "us against them" discussion. Regardless of who wins the election, we are all still citizens of the USA living under, and supporting (I hope) a common belief in our constitution. Differences are going to exist. Differences in interpretation of the constitution, differences in our beliefs about what is wrong in our country and the world, differences in whom we think can best lead our country. That is OK. Hey, it sure beats a one party system. Let us talk like reasonable men and women and put ridicule behind us. Let us agree to reasonably disagree without smirking, winking, and suggesting the opposition might have less brainpower than we do.
