Dana is looking for some help setting up SBS 2003. But as I have come to expect from Dana this post contains all sorts of hidden gems.

Earlier this week I listened to the 2nd edition of Intelligent defence hosted by "John Robb", it was an interview with Mark Last. The data mining project did sound interesting but it was very much in the early stages of development.

Why not just hire a bunch of Spammer's, we already know they have a good deal of experience data-mining the web for emails. I'm sure they could offer some insight into how best to go about it...

I just installed the official Gmail notifier, so far it's working great. It even knows how to open the main GMail page in my default browser (Firefox).
