2004 Presidential Election
A Curious Stranger: "Today in New Hamphire General Clark presented his 10 Pledges on the use of force in a Clark administration."
Daily Kos: "The latest NH, IA, and MA polls. The $50K for the Florida Democratic Party. The realization of what the SEIU and AFSCME endorsements meant, the realization that it would take a miracle to overtake Dean given his current advantages in support, money, and most important (and most often overlooked) -- his ground organization. Clark, the only guy left with a chance to catch Dean, trails in all three with just over a month left before the first ballots get cast. Had he entered the race a mere two or three months earlier... but that's academic. Clark entered when he entered."
Ed Cone: "I have written before about an emerging libertarian majority, but maybe it's not a majority at all, but a swing vote that's up for grabs, depending on which party is more annoying at the moment."
Latest results From the AP-Ipsos Poll on the Economy and President Bush. From the article, "No more than one time in 20 should chance variations in the sample cause the results to vary by more than 3 percentage points from the answers that would be obtained if all Americans were polled. This margin of sampling error is larger for responses of subgroups, such as income categories. There are other sources of potential error in polls, including the wording and order of questions." No kidding? Thanks to the Daily Kos for the link.
Howard Dean is hanging out in New Mexico and Arizona this weekend. I keep coming late to the schedule party which is frustrating for me since I like to publish candidate schedules here. I think the campaigns should have a separate RSS feed for schedule information. I might have driven down to New Mexico for food and fun.
HeraldTribune: "Edwards said that 'people who make voting machines need to be real careful when they talk about delivering elections.'"
