2004 Presidential Election
Update: New Mexico Democrats weigh in on the nomination.
Bob Graham was in Denver on Sunday according to the Rocky Mountain News [September 15, 2003, "Dem campaigns in state"]. Graham held a sparsely attended news conference yesterday and is planning a fundraiser today at Sullivan's Steakhouse. Here's the coverage from the Denver Post [September 15, 2003, "Graham rips Bush on wildfires, energy"]. From the article, "Graham flew into Denver late Saturday and spent much of the day Sunday 'catching up on paperwork' in his room at the Magnolia Hotel. He later met privately with Rep. Mark Udall, D-Colo., who said he's not supporting Graham's - nor any other Democratic - presidential bid but respects the senator's foreign-policy views. Graham attended a reception Sunday evening at the home of retired attorney Dick Freese, a longtime buddy from Harvard Law School. The candidate is slated today to be the guest of honor at a fundraising luncheon at Sullivan's Steak House in Lower Downtown, being hosted by Freese and his wife, Sigrid; Jeremy and Kristin Bronson; and philanthropist and state school-board member Jared Polis. Guests are being asked to give at least $500 each to Graham's campaign."
Here's a link to a short article on a presidential poll in Missouri. I like the voters in Missouri. They elected a dead guy over John Ashcroft.
