2004 Presidential Election

Here's some information about a recent Zogby poll looking at electoral votes for November's presidential election from Taegan Goddard. John Kerry "is ahead in 18 of the so-called Blue states (including the District of Columbia), representing some 226 electoral votes. President Bush leads in 21 of the Red states, with 176 electoral votes. A dozen more states, with 136 electoral votes, are considered in play."

Here's a post from the Daily Kos about poll numbers in Florida. Florida is shaping up to be a battleground state in November. John Kerry is leading President Bush in a Miami Herald poll (49 to 43) and an American Research Group poll (45 to 44).

National Polls are interesting to watch, although they have little relevance when one is counting electoral votes. John Kerry and President Bush are neck and neck (44 to 44) in this Fox News poll.
