2004 Presidential Election

Blogs for Bush is pointing to the President's website and the new TV ads. I like the fact that they stream the video in Real, QuickTime, and .wmp format. It shows an inclusive attitude on the part of the President's media people.

The Daily Kos comments on the President's going negative so early in the campaign season. Says the Kos, "There's essentially only one tactic open to him to win this thing -- drive Kerry's negatives higher than his. And to raise an opponent's negatives, you have to run negative ads. And given Bush's downward spiral, Rove has apparently decided that sooner is better than later."

The President's support for the constitutional ban on gay marriage is one of the top election issues this year. Here's a story about a group of gay Republicans in Ohio, the Log Cabin Republicans, that are working against his re-election in that all important swing state. Thanks to Channeling Cupertino for the link.
