2004 Presidential Election
Sunday's March for Women's Lives is the subject of this opinion piece from the Cortez Journal. From the editorial, "We hope the president was watching Sunday. He needs to understand that many of his constituents feel very strongly about the government's role in their reproductive decisions. He should remember that the Republican party traditionally has stood for limited interference in citizens' private lives, a stance now largely abandoned. If he cannot be convinced to consider whether further limiting reproductive choice is the right thing to do, he surely must consider whether he really can accomplish that in the face of so much ardent opposition from Americans who vote."
Update: Senator Kerry leads President Bush 46 to 44 in a recent CBS/New York Times national poll. Thanks to Taegan Goddard for the link.
