From today's Denver Post: "U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo, a Littleton Republican, has invited New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, with whom he has feuded over immigration issues, to tour New Mexico's border area with him to 'survey the damage that illegal immigration has caused.' Tancredo extended the invitation Wednesday in a letter and had received no response by Wednesday evening, said Tancredo spokesman Will Adams. The congressman said he planned to visit the Mexico-New Mexico border area Saturday at the invitation of local officials. Tancredo complained in September that Richardson was misusing government money to keep tabs on the Minuteman volunteer group patrolling the border. Richardson replied by accusing Tancredo of distorting the truth 'in a desperate attempt to grab another headline.'"

Bull Moose: "This is the biggest scandal in Washington - the redistribution of wealth upward during wartime while slashing programs for the poor. It is a profoundly obscene budget."

Political Wire: "If you're not sure Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is running for president in 2008, check out the new website for his leadership PAC, Straight Talk America."
