Oliver Willis: "I've got lots of issues with Sen. Clinton's still muddy policy on Iraq, but the thing I like the most about her campaign - and this is the tactician in me - is that they don't suffer from the traditional Democratic compulsion to blab everything to the media. That is what hurt President Clinton some and what helped to screw up the Gore and Kerry campaigns. A lot of folks on the Democratic side think nothing of spilling the beans to a journalist in exchange for God knows what, and its what ends up hurting the very campaign they're on."
New West: "In Des Moines, Iowa this afternoon, presidential candidate and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson told an audience about his universal health care policy saying he'd divert funds from the war in Iraq to pay for the $100 billion plan. In the plan, he would extend Medicare to those age 55, spend more on preventive care, give veterans the option of receiving health care at the facility of their choice, and use technology to improve record keeping. In addition, he'd mandate that the insurance companies spend 85 percent of their premiums on health care."
Here are some video clips of Bill Richardson from last week's Democratic Forum at YearlyKos.
